About Volunteernearme and FAQs

Connecting volunteers with opportunities to make a difference.

Our Mission

Volunteernearme is a project aimed to make it easy and simple to find volunteering opportunities. It is a project that is dedicated to supporting both newly established and long-running volunteering organisations. We commit to frequent feature upadtes, adding and improving on what the community asks for. Take a look at the development log to see what has and will be added!

Volunteernearme (formerly the volunteer map) focuses on mapping out as many volunteer opportunities as possible.

FAQs

Map navigation consists of several key features. On the top is the filter bar. You can expand this to provide a more catered search. The postcode input sorts the locations from the inputted location and shows the distance. You are free to zoom and move about the map. Clicking on an icon on the map will scroll to the respective sidebar details for that opportunity. Press/click on the sidebar opportunity for all the details

Create an account and upload an opportunity from the Profile page. You can manage, edit or delete any of your uploaded opportunities from there as well.

Go back to home and then back to the map. If that still doesn't work, please email volunteermapproject@gmail.com and we try and fix the problem

If there has been no response for some time, please email volunteermapproject@gmail.com and we will help find a solution. It may be that contact details have changed since uploading and we will help find the new contact details.

Get in contact with them! In the sidebar most opportunties have a contact email. If not their website may have details on how to get involved.
